SPECIAL CLEANING QUESTIONS OR CIRCUMSTANCES

SUGGESTED REMEDY

Tiles will look very dull and will pick up tracked soil easily if OGR has been subjected to any of the following:

  • Over scrubbing , over concentration of cleaner, solvent or acid spill, & overly stiff or abrasive brush or pad

To help restore the tile to its normal luster and condition, please follow these instructions:

  • Tiles must be scrubbed clean with Auto Clean or pH neutral cleaner.
  • With a mop, apply a one to one mixture of Taski Wi-wax evenly onto the cleaned tile.
  • Normal will not require the use of floor finishes.  OGR’s internal waxes can be enhanced by dry brushing.
RECOMMENDED CLEANING DETERGENTS
  • Remember neutral means a pH of 7-8 and this is very important.  .
  • PROFI from Taski a division of Johnson Diversey.  Call Proclean at 612-282-7314 or voice mail 800-827-5487 Ext 552

RECOMMENDED BRUSHES
FOR SCRUBBING MACHINES
  • Wet Cleaning Brush:  Specify a stiff poly bristle for cleaning
  • Dry Polishing Brush:  Specify the Union Mix Brush for dry buffing (be sure to use this brush dry).
Avoid

OGR is one of the longest wearing, most beautiful, most forgiving, and toughest floors available.  Regular maintenance procedures are important to preserve the luster of the products built in wax.  Excessive soil and grit are the sources of abrasion and need to be removed.  Otherwise, the life of the floor could be shortened or may require a surface treatment for the tile.
